2. Cost-minimisation analysis
This is a study in which the outcomes are shown to be identical and we just need to compare the relevant costs of the interventions.
| Example. “Comparable mean reductions in systolic and diastolic blood pressures were achieved. Treated systolic blood pressure ranged from 128+/-6 mmHg to 130+/-8 mmHg. For diastolic blood pressure the range was 86+/-3 to 88+/-2 mmHg. (values are expressed as mean +/- SD).
